Inspiring Action Through Storytelling – Nodding Syndrome Documentary
Outreach visit-NeurXtend Foundation nutrition support to families affected by Nodding syndrome in Pader District
Our documentary on Nodding Syndrome brought global attention to a deeply underreported health crisis in Northern Uganda. By capturing real stories and community realities, the production helped spark international awareness and engagement
Impact:
The documentary directly contributed to the establishment of the Neurxtend Foundation in Uganda and the USA, https://neurxtend.org. which now provides nutritional support to affected communities and is working towards long-term healthcare solutions.
Strengthening Capacity – Empower You Grant Support
In March 2025 LR Media received a micro-support grant under the Empower You Project implemented by a consortium led by Caritas Switzerland (CACH), along with StartHub Africa and Gulu Women’s Economic Development and Globalization (GWED-G). The Project aims to empower youth in Uganda, with a focus on improving sustainable income generation, life skills, and encouraging youth participation in policy and decision-making at national and local levels, to enhance its operational capacity.
Impact:
The grant enabled the acquisition of studio equipment, improving service delivery and strengthening the sustainability of the organization’s social enterprise model.
Restoring Hope Through Community Engagement – St. Jude Children’s Home Outreach
During Uganda’s 63rd Independence Day, October 9th 2025, LR Media organized a grand community outreach at St. Jude Children’s Home, reaching 67 children, over 11 caregivers and staff through engagement activities (Singing, Dancing, games, etc), shared experiences, psychosocial support and essential aids.
Impact:
The initiative restored hope, dignity, and joy among vulnerable children while strengthening relationships with caregivers and community stakeholders.
Amplifying Learning & Collaboration – CivFund Documentary

LR Media documented the CivFund Joint Partners Training hosted by GWED-G in Gulu, capturing key sessions, participant insights, and collaborative learning moments.
Impact:
The documentary became a valuable advocacy and learning tool, helping partners communicate outcomes, strengthen collaboration, and extend the reach of the training beyond the event.

Expanding Community Support – Striving Woman Partnership
In March 2025, to celebrate the International Women’s Day celebration, LR Media collaborated with Striving Woman, a CBO based in Gulu, and carried out an outreach at St. Jude Children’s Home, reaching over 300 children through essential aid and psychosocial support.
Impact:
This partnership expanded outreach efforts, strengthened community support systems, and demonstrated the power of collaborative action.
Advocating for Justice – “Root of Justice” Documentary
This documentary explored land rights issues across Africa, linking historical injustices with current challenges faced by communities.
Impact:
The film raised awareness on land rights, amplified grassroots voices, and contributed to ongoing advocacy for equitable land access and protection.
Creative Expression for Impact – Music & Media Productions
